A Tale of Two Hamlets

A Tale of Two Hamlets is the fourth episode of Series Six. The plot centres around a feud between the neighbouring villages of Upper Warden and Lower Warden. One of Lower Warden's greatest sons, the Victorian author Ellis Bell wrote a book entitled 'House of Satan', a social commentary which was bastardized by its subject, the Upper Warden Smythe-Webster clan, into a cut-price horror movie. Things come to a head at a promotional event for the film, where the actor playing the protagonist is killed in an exploding summerhouse. Barnaby has yet another case to solve.
