Adam Burbage is a character appearing in the episode Blood on the Saddle of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
Biography[]
Adam Burbage is an optician in Ford Florey and archivist of the Ford Florey Wild West Society. He is the son of local farmer, Silas Burbage. The Burbage family and the Fincher family are in a bitter fight over a piece of swamp land that both claim belongs to them. While this is going on, Susan Fincher becomes involved with Adam and directs a "movie" where Adam, playing "Billy the Kid," dispenses with members of her family to make the way clear for her to inherit the farm.

- Faye Lennox - Girlfriend of Jack Fincher- Shot through the heart while sitting in the dunk tank at the Ford Florey Fayre. She was killed with a shotgun loaded with 44-40 WCF (Winchester Centre Fire) bullets.
- Jack Fincher - Dragged to death by his ankles after being roped by a horeseman.
- Leo Fincher - Shot in the chest with a pistol loaded with 44-40 WCF (Winchester Centre Fire) bullets while he was riding his horse, then tied to it and the horse roamed all night with his body in the back. In his hand was put a deck of aces and eights ("Dead man's hand" - Tom Barnaby).
- Fergal Jenner - Stabbed in the chest with a Bowie knife.
