Reverend Alex Deakin is a character appearing in the episode The Straw Woman of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
He is murdered during the opening scene of the episode by being burned alive while inside the Straw Woman. It is only revealed during the murderer's confession how he came to be placed in the Straw Woman.
