Ambrose Deddington is a character appearing in the episode The Sting of Death of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.

Master beekeeper and historic honey producer, Ambrose Deddington, developer of the Apitherapy therapy has been arrested for fraud, along with his sister Tamara Deddington. When he was diagnosed with cancer, Ambrose treated it with apitherapy. Which is a branch of alternative medicine that uses honey products and bee venom. Deddington put his faith in it, and the tumors vanished. He's become a bit of a legend in the alternative-medicine world. And it's made him very rich. As it turned out, he never had cancer in the first place. He sold his "treatment" to people in hopes of a cure for their cancer. Co-conspirators, Dr. Serena Lowe and Cal Ingalls were murdered due to their involvement in the fraud. Ambrose was almost murdered.

Since Ambrose and his sister Tamara are going to jail, likely for multiple sentences due to the fact that his Apitherapy resulted in deaths, his nephew Jude and sister Melissa will be moving into Apley Court and taking over the Bee Business.
