Bryn Williams is a character appearing in the episode Death and Dust of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
He is the cousin and good friend to Delyth Mostyn. He lives in Snowdonia next to a slate waste tip that was once a thriving quarry. Bryn's family business was destroyed when the quarry workers were indiscriminately diagnosed as sick from their work and laid off en masse before the quarry was closed. Bryn was left with a burning hatred of doctors, but he reportedly wanted to make a business off making paving tiles from the large heap in his own backyard. While he was in the process of trying to secure an office grant from Wales, as well as buying Delwyn's share of her home she was selling for world travels, he found out she was happily marrying Dr. James Kirkwood. In truth, Bryn was only going to take the money and escape to use it as he wanted, totally in millions once summed up.
Bryn was furious and decided to off him in the interest of keeping doctors out of the family and save his scam. Bryn drove his pickup truck into Midsomer Market, waiting just outside Jim's office for him to leave. As his car pulled out, Bryn followed the driver to a point in the road that was blocked by a fallen branch. Bryn didn't realize the driver was really Jim's friend and associate, Dr. Alan Delaney, but Bryn didn't stop to notice. Bryn sped his truck through and smashes Alan off the road before speeding away, killing Alan almost instantly in a case of mistaken identity.
Bryn relied on the obvious suspects: Jim's mother-in-law, Dorothy Hutton, who always feared Jim killed his wife and her daughter Sarah Kirkwood, when Alan himself actually assisted in her suicide; Delwyn's children Megan Mostyn and David Mostyn, who were responsible for embezzling and laundering schemes through David's furniture shop; and Delwyn's former husband Huw Mostyn, who Bryn himself encouraged Delwyn to leave because of his violent blows. When Bryn realized he killed the wrong man, he tried to throw a pail of construction debris on Jim's head, but Jim narrowly dodged severe injury and lived. When he drove in his truck to Delwyn's, where Jim was hiding out, only to see DC Briars stationed there, he drove away.
Knowing Delwyn and Jim were arranging a hiking expedition through the mountains of Wales, Bryn lied to Huw they should break bread with Delwyn just Bryn could have a chance at Jim one last time. DS Ben Jones and DC Briars weren't aware and left Bryn to take Jim off the trail for a confrontation. While Jim wasn't looking, Bryn struck him out cold with a rock, tossed his ringing phone over cliffside, and was about to send Jim tumbling down too. However, intervention from Jones, briars, and DCI Tom Barnaby stopped the attempt, rescued Jim, and ended with Bryn's arrest.

- Dr. Alan Delaney - While driving Dr. Kirkwood's car a tree branch fell and blocked the road making him to crash the car. As he came out to inspect the damage was intentionally thrown off the road by another car and broke his neck. (Not the intended target).
- Dr. James Kirkwood - Attempted to run over with a pickup truck, but Dr. Alan Delaney was killed by mistaken identity. He later attempted to pour a pail of construction debris on his head, but he narrowly survived. He then lured him to a rockface, knocked him out with a small boulder, threw his phone into a lake and dragged him to the cliff's edge, attempting to throw him over; he was arrested, and Jim was taken to a nearby hospital.
