Caroline Halsey is a character appearing in the episode Days of Misrule of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
A wealthy woman, she has turned her family estate into a convalescent home for soldiers and lives in an apartment in the old servants quarters. A widow, she lost her only daughter in childbirth years previously. Although she is still on good terms with her son in law, Matt Parkes, she is utterly disgusted by her grandson Jamie, whom she believes ultimately behind the suicide of her goddaughter. She said that he was not the grandson she would have wanted but his fate was something she would have wished on no one.
