Daniella Bellini is a character appearing in the episode Send in the Clowns of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
Daniella Bellini was a circus performer. Prior to the events portrayed in this episode, she was performing a dangerous act with her twin sister Elsa and the safety mechanism failed causing both of them to fall to the ground. Daniella survived, but not Elsa. Daniella still worked as the circus' box office lady thanks to Joe, though she continued to mourn Elsa's death for many years.
When she found out that the "accident" was caused by a careless overlooking, she decided to get revenge for her sister's death. Using her connections to Freya, she borrowed one of the rifles that belonged to her husband and used it to kill Terry; for not performing the safety checks on the mechanism that killed her sister as he was busy having sex with one of the dancers. She wanted to kill Joe Ferabbee for covering up the truth about the incident, along with potentially endangering her daughter for making her perform the same trick that brought upon her sister's demise, but Ashley Denton took his place in a rigged magic act and was killed instead. After returning the rifle to Ferabbee's house, she took a detour through the abattoir and went to retrieve the locket that was stolen a few days earlier by Mostyn when upon hearing Mr. Ferabbee come in, she retreats to a catwalk and hides behind a metal trolley that she accidentally pushes forward; knocking him into the automated gas chamber where he is killed.
Upon being caught by the detectives, Daniella retreats to the circus tent and climbs all the way up to the aerialist platform, bringing attention to Sophia and Joe who beg for her to come down, though does one last trick on the rope; presumably the "Silken Noose," and comes down unscathed. After giving one last look at Sophia, she tries a last-ditch effort to hold Joe accountable before she is taken away by police and arrested for the three murders.
