Dennis Rainbird is a character appearing in the  episode The Killings at Badger's Drift. He was murdered by Katherine Lacey with a butcher's knife.

An oily, simpering character, he was his mother's partner in a long term blackmail scheme that victimized many of the villagers. Most of whom they bled dry.

When he gave an ultimatum to Katherine Lacey, however, she arrived at his doorstep with a ten inch blade and slashed open his throat.

Nine years after investigating Dennis' murder Tom Barnaby, met Dennis' aunt Ursula Gooding and his cousins April and Alistair. Alistair considered his cousin 'creepy' despite dressing like him to keep his mother happy[1]. While Ursula called him her 'dear nephew'[2]
