Diana Davenport is a character appearing in the episode Death and the Divas of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
As a young woman in the 1960s, she followed actress sister Stella for her big Hollywood break. Once there, however, Diana seduced Stella's producer and stole her role. Stella returned to her husband and daughter in Midsomer Langley and never made another film. Diana married producer and former stunt man Cy Davenport and spent the next forty years in Hollywood, producing a son along the way.
During a meeting of the Midsomer Langley Film Society's festival in Stella's honor, she appeared without warning and utterly stole her sister spotlight. When a woman who was writing a book about the sister's turned up dead, they were both considered person's of interest in the investigation. Cy Davenport would fall victim to the killer as well, and Diana would be severely wounded.
