Emily Beavis is a character appearing in the episode Dead Man's Eleven of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
Emily Beavis was the former housekeeper of the Cavendish's and sister to Doreen. While walking the Cavendish's dog one morning she was pushed over the edge of a quarry head first. As she lay taking her last breath she is found by Colin and Christine Cooper. As she was found, she pointed up in the air to the edge of the quarry where a figure could be seen standing there briefly before walking away.
Instead of calling the police or an ambulance, Colin and Christine went to Emily's house and broke in to look for a rare coin worth £100,000. As this happened, Emily lay dying on the quarry floor.
DCI Barnaby said that Emily Beavis was killed by Mrs. Wilson in order to replace her so she could get closer to the Cavendish family.
