Felicity Turner is a character appearing in the episode Hidden Depths of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.

Felicity assisted her husband Nick Turner in a series of elaborate revenge murders staged and performed as revenge for an elaborate con against him. Felicity assisted Nick in luring Jack Wilmot, his solicitor colleague and the sweet-talker, into the attic, where he was knocked out, dressed in Nick's outfit, and tied and gagged to a mattress. Nick went to the roof the next day with an unconscious Jack, wearing the same outfit, and dropped Jack face-first onto the patio below. Felicity, who had asked gardener Steve Hope to paint a bench away from the scene so he wouldn't see the setup, ran to Jack and covered his face while wailing fake tears so Jack's wife Antonia Wilmot wouldn't see her husband died.

Felicity was seem giggling over the phone with Nick, before turning solemn again with her shared friend Jane Hampton, which Jane reported to the police. It wouldn't change Nick catapulting wine bottles onto Otto in his own yard and drowning Mike with wine in a fake telly box to mock up his unpopular game show. Nick, or perhaps Felicity, locked Antonia, DCI Tom Barnaby, and DS Dan Scott in the recently emptied cellar to buy time for Mike's murder, which the detectives came upon too late once Jane rescued them all the next morning.

Felicity met up with Nick at her parents' home, watching the tape recorded of Mike's murder with Nick while laughing all the way through between sips of wine and sharing delicacies to eat. They lamented they should've done the same with Otto, then agreed to meet again later once Nick's life insurance was collected. The detectives interrupted their moment, confiscated the tape as evidence, and cuffed them both in official arrests.

Victims[]

All of the following were committed by Nick Turner with Felicity's assistance

  • Jack Wilmot - Lured to the attic of his house, knocked unconscious with a Cricket bat, stripped and dressed up in identical clothes that Nick would wear that morning. Then he was gagged and tied up, knocked out again, taken to the roof and finally dropped from the roof head first onto a stone patio to make it appear Nick was the victim.
  • Bernie Benham - Restrained to her wheelchair with duct tape, them carefully transported to her bedroom window overlook Otto's murder. She was complicit by directing the trajectory of the murder weapon.
  • Otto Benham - Drank drugged wine, lured outside of his house where he collapsed onto a white target that was drawn on his lawn and pinned to the ground by croquet hoops. Then he was woken up and slowly killed by having bottles of wine thrown at him with an antique catapult.
  • DCI Tom Barnaby - Locked for nearly a day in a basement wine cellar; rescued by Jane Hampton.
  • DC Dan Scott - Locked for nearly a day in a basement wine cellar; rescued by Jane Hampton.
  • Antonia Wilmot - Locked for nearly a day in a basement wine cellar; rescued by Jane Hampton.
  • Mike Spicer - Knocked unconscious with a pan, tied up and had his head put into a modified TV set. Then he was recorded and forced to take part in a Q and A, each "wrong" answer resulting in the TV set being slowly filled with wine, eventually drowning him. The "game" was named "MIKE SPICER'S GAME FOR YOUR LIFE", a pun on the show Mike used to present "MIKE SPICER'S GAME OF YOUR LIFE".
