Great Auburn is a village appearing in the ITV drama series Midsomer Murders. Along with Little Auburn it is one of the settings for The Village That Rose from the Dead.

Great Auburn is the neighbouring community to Little Auburn, to where the villagers of Little Auburn resettled when the Ministry of Defence took ownership of the village from the Craven family in the second world war. Those included in the resettlement were Fred Messenger, Sylvia Lennard and likely Tobias Craven.
