Inkpen Manor is a fictional mansion in the county of Midsomer that appears in the Garden of Death episode of the popular ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
Inkpen Manor is a manor house in the village of Midsomer Deverell. It was originally owned by the Inkpen family. It was sold to Gerald Bennett years ago due to the Inkpen families loss of income. It was later sold back to the Inkpen family when they came into money. This was due to blackmailing Augustus Deverell regarding his granddaughter Hilary Inkpen, whose father is Richard Deverell. Augustus paid this blackmail money to protect Richard's career in the Catholic hierarchy. Richard is totally unaware of the existence of his daughter, Hilary, until much later in the episode.
