Layout Guide - Episode

This page is considered an official policy on Midsomer Murders Wiki. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the Comments section below to propose changes to this policy.

This Layout Guide is an official guide as to how an in-universe article should be structured. This guide is to be used for episode articles, but can be adapted to almost any in-universe article by leaving out sections that are irrelevant. By adhering to this layout guide we will add more uniformity across all the pages. This will create a more professional look for the Midsomer Murders Wiki. In addition, if you are unsure of how to start an article use this guide to provide a starting point. If you have any questions or comments feel free to discuss the Layout Guide on the discussion page.

fill in as many data areas as possible, the image should be a good quality screen capture of the Episode Title scene that appears near the beginning of every episode. The image should be 800px wide.

Intro

A short paragraph intended to 'introduce' the episode (episode number, series, etc). This intro should be immediately after the infobox so that it is positioned correctly on the rendered article page.

A short summary of the plot with important plot points.

A more detailed description of the plot.

A listing of all the main and supporting characters

Images of characters that died during the episode or are relevant to the episode. Images should be 400px wide. Enter the gallery as follows:
