Midsomer Barton is a fictional village in the county of Midsomer that appears in the popular ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders. It is noted for the Oak Apple Week festival. DS Jones attended the festival as a boy and returned to the village when Marion Slade was murdered during the events of Dead Letters. DCI Tom Barnaby also had a reminder of his past while investigating the residents.
