Ned Barnaby is the father of John Barnaby and the uncle of Tom Barnaby. He was first referred to in the episode Let Us Prey and later appeared in the episode The Point of Balance, portrayed by veteran actor Christopher Timothy
Biography
Little is known about Ned's early life though due to the close relationship between his son John and his older cousin Tom it can be inferred that Ned and Tom had a good family relationship themselves.
Ned had a good relationship with his son John, though it is clear Ned feels strongly that John takes life too seriously.
