Nicholas Bentley is a character first appearing in the episode Death of a Hollow Man of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders. An actor, he and Cully Barnaby met and began dating.
He appears in the third series episode, Beyond the Grave, having run out his lease two weeks before moving. Joyce and Cully try and convince Tom to let him stay at their place. At the same time, he asks to shadow Gavin Troy, as his next job will be as a police constable in a television production. This Tom allows, and Troy complains that Nico will be making more money playing him than he makes being him.
Nico and Cully are together for two years.
