Ricky Naybury is a character appearing in the episode A Grain of Truth of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders. Ricky is an apprentice baker to Gabriel Arnson. Tom Larkton is his sponsor and won't hear a word against him. Ricky has a history of burglary in the village. He sold cheap rolls to Silas Bantrig after no one came to the Larkton Mill's opening. The rolls had seeds on them with Ergot.
Ricky stole Gabriel's keys and broke into his house. Ricky also saw Tom Larkton with Lara and said he would lie for him but it would cost Tom.
Ricky gets a text and goes to the mill in the evening. While he is looking through bags on the floor, a bag of grain falls on him from above and crushes him. Later, the cops found Ricky's phone in the river. It has an image of a silver necklace shaped like a horn. The image was taken the day after Gabriel's house was broken into. Maria Cignoni wears a similar necklace. When Ricky found the necklace, he threatened to call the police. So he had to be killed.
