Tristan Goodfellow is a character appearing in the episode Destroying Angel of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.

He was one of four people who had reportedly inherited a portion of his employer, Karl Wainwright's estate, the bulk of which was the local hotel where he was employed as the chef. One-quarter share would pass to Tristan—until the beneficiaries discovered they had been disinherited and the new will held by his lover's husband, Gregory Chambers. He volunteered to kill the man and retrieve the new will. He was proud of his skill with a bow and so dressed in a Rambo-like fashion and went into the wood to shoot Gregory. Once Gregory was dead, the four conspirators received threatening notes, 'Confess or die'.

When Tristan found himself suffering from stomach cramps, it was revealed he had been poisoned with a type of toxic mushroom known as Destroying Angel. He was dying slowly and painfully, there was some talk of a liver transplant, but not much hope was held out for his survival. He produced the alternate will for DCI Barnaby which he had saved as insurance, thinking that if his mistress, Suzanna Chambers, was all right with having one husband murdered, she might not stop there.
