William Holt was an unseen character in the episode Murder by Magic.
Holt, a homeless drifter was the unintended victim of a firework stunt created by the then 13-year old Gideon Latimer and Luke Altman.
The shack Holt was sleeping in caught fire when one of the fireworks fell into it. Holt failed to get out possibly due to being drunk and died as a result.
Luke took sole responsibility for the tragedy but it destroyed his friendship with Gideon.
